This is a follow up from Maryanne’s Mission trip to Russia and Israel in Feb/March ’09.

Hi guys,

I would like to thank you all for your prayers. What miracles God chose to bestow as we stepped out in faith!

My recommendation to all of you is to Go where God is sending you.  Maybe just step out in faith with this crazy brother, Steve Grace, for God’s hand is on him mightily! 

I Praise the Lord to have been given the privilege of sharing testimony to so many Russian women, who have been under such great persecution as  believers in this dark world.  The testimony of my alcoholic dad coming to Jesus after 30 years of turmoil and persecution in my life greatly encouraged these women, as many live this life daily in Russia.  I found my shoulders wet with their tears which I will cherish forever.   God is faithful!

Specifically, I praise God for Anna, an orphan with a horrific past of sexual and physical abuse, in which she had only recently experienced the night mare of her brother murdering her natural mother.  Anna gave her life to the Lord!

When asked by Steve and Kerrie to write a testimony as to how the Lord has guided us in our move to Chico it took only a look through the pages of my prayer journal to see the reoccurring theme. I think this verse sums it up:

Psalm 38:23-24 The steps of a [good] man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds [him with] his hand.
