Deep beneath the ancient dry landscape of Australia lies endless reserves of living water. They call it the great artesian basin. In the past two centuries it has transformed barren desert lands into highly productive farming country. Many towns exist on the map today simply because of the water supply far below the drought stricken surface. So the famous old Southern Cross and Comet windmills are seen on every rural horizon, faithfully depending on the wind to generate enough drawing power to raise the precious water from the ground and into the holding tank.
The holding tank is vital to sustaining life. It protects the water and preserves it for when it is most needed. It provides life to livestock and crops through the most severe drought conditions.
In the Bible water is symbolic of the Holy Spirit. You and I need to be constantly filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit if we are to maintain a useful and authentic life. From the holding tank of our hearts flows all the wisdom, knowledge, grace, experience and love stored up from dedicated daily times of prayer, Bible reading and waiting on the Lord. We will always have the words in our mouth to speak into any situation if we have our holding tanks full. We will never become weary in doing good when we have given time to the Lord and allowed Him to fill us.
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another in love with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him”. Colossians 3:16 - 17
We have had a busy start to the tour. 10 concerts in 7 days. Some small appreciative crowds and some larger churches. We’ve seen decisions for Christ and many people prayed for and encouraged. We’ve ministered to hundreds of people and travelled about 2,500kms. A day of rest today and we will be ready to go again for another full on week.
Thanks to all of you who have been praying for us and supporting our efforts to reach people for Christ. You are a blessing!!
Godspeed,

Dear Steve and Kerrie,
Just read your latest newsletter and wanted to say God bless you, your family, ministry and all those who you come across on your latest tour, and all you put your hands to. Looking forward to seeing you all again at Gateway church of Christ Warrnambool on 10th of Nov. When I read your first news to say you were back on the road again, your Whoo Hoo really got me, being a woohooer myself, and then today to see your scrip eph 2 10, that’s totally in tune with what the Lord gave me about a week or so back and that’s the “now” message for the churches, amen! God bless you all, see you when you get down here, looking forward to it!
