These Boots are made for Walking!

These are my old desert ministry boots. I have preached many Bible messages and prayed for many people with these boots on. Plus, changed a few punctured tyres and walked many miles. Isaiah chapter 52 says,

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, ‘Your God Reigns!’ Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy. When the LORD returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes.”

Well… I love to see people come to a living faith in Jesus with my own eyes. The honour it is to pray with someone who has come face to face with the reality of their own sin and yet, by faith receive forgiveness and meet their Saviour, Jesus. Blessed are the feet of those who bring that kind of good news to people. I love knowing that I am blessed in the way Jesus calls me to be blessed. That means being poor in my spirit so that I am rich in Him.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit” simply means.. “Happy and blessed are those whose thoughts, actions, decisions, and soul are bowed low in fear of the almighty God, knowing that they are wretched in comparison with Him… for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:3

Never stop lifting up your voice with the good news of the kingdom. Find some good work boots and get out there!! You will be blessed!! Amen.
